105.3 KFM congratulates Gina Simpson, a 5th grade teacher at Gale School in Galesburg, November's KFM Teacher of the Month. Gina was nominated by John McCulloch and this is what he had to say about Mrs Simpson:

One way they go above and beyond: she will strive to do anything to help students. she prepares us for 6th grade so it will be eaiser for us. she gives us daily quotes to help us think mootivate us and get better with cursive writing

Example of how this teacher has helped: she has a group during reading time that she will help kids with things like math or reading that thay don't understand when they need it. i have been one of those kids and scince she sat down and hellped me i have improved two grade letters ahead.this teacher has had a huge impact on my life and she deserves this award.

What sets this teacher apart: she is always there is a question about anything she will stop and listen to you even if she is going to a meeting that she could loose her job if she doesn't go to it she will still listen to you she cares about her students and will do anything to help you in any way she can

As KFM’s Teacher of the Month, Gina wins a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank, a ballon bouquet from Casey's Party Creations, and the Big Red Apple Award courtsey of Lacky Monuments and 105.3 KFM Today’s refreshing Light Rock!
